Congratulations to you all on your tremendous performance at the Imperial Club on 18 December 2011. What an incredible dynamic range for a smallish ensemble and retaining balance at all times. Well Done.

Mr Moore, how wonderful to meet you again, after oh so many years.
We were guests of the sponsors last night at the Bradfield Festival of Music.
What an utter surprise to find The Brass Players featured my old brass teacher.
The two sets you played were exceptional, the quality of the playing was virtuosic, the entertainment value was exceedingly. A great night.
Your are all truly talented performers. I look forward to an occassion when i hear you play again.
What of recorded material. Have you cut any. Is anything available. The 'Stardust' arrangement for 3 flugels was sublime. The whole programme was 'top brass, sorry class'.
Assuring you of my sincerest best wishes, John Oliver, washed up Tuba player, circa 1979
Out of retirement myself, playing bass trombone, all a result ofmy 17yo daughter deciding on being a brass player.

Concert at St. Mary's Church, Sprotbrough. Wednesday, 27th April 2011.
It was splendid evening, a concert given by eight talented musicians, with music ranging from The Arrival of the Queen of Sheba to Danny Boy, excerpts from the film 'Brassed Off' and much more. There was informative and amusing commentary on the music played, a lively demonstration of the capabilities of the tuba and some haunting melodies played on the flugel horn and other instruments of the group. It was most enjoyable evening and, as a bonus, was in aid of St. Mary's Church Roof Appeal, a worthy local cause which the musicians and their sponsors chose to support.

Absolutely superb performance last Saturday both in your solo spots and in the joint items. Your professionalism and excellent musicianship were a joy especially coping with my arrangements! We Look forward to having you with us in future.

Thoroughly enjoyed the ensemble's performance with Dore Male Voice Choir in October 2010. Your musicianship and choice of music was excellent. The blend of classical, jazz and "modern" worked well as did the pieces with some humour, e.g. "Tuba Tiger Rag". Don't spoil performances by allowing players to tell jokes - leave that to the MD's of brass bands! The announcements by your non-player were factual and just right for the occasion. Well done - let's hope Dore MVC have you again.

Last Saturday's concert was superb, both your spots and the joint items. Audience reaction was 'best concert ever' and we (the choir) really enjoyed working with you. Hope we can do it again in the future. EH
