Scot Bennett - Horn
The Brass Players

Scot started his playing career at the age of 12 with his local brass band The Barrow Colliery Junior Band

Scot's career took off when he got into the "BIG TIME" at the age of 17 playing principle horn with The Williams Fairey Engineering Band.

Having played with several top bands including Black Dyke Mills, Brighouse & Rastrick, Leyland and Grimethorpe he has appeared all over the country in concerts and contests at venues such as the Royal Albert Hall, Birmingham Symphony Hall, Cambridge Corn Exchange to name a few.

His playing has also taken him overseas to Great places such as Germany, Switzerland, throughout America and West Africa.

A mention and big thank you must be paid to Scot's mentor and tutor the legendary horn player Mr Bryan Smith who he owes his success and talent to.
